It’d been too long since we got close.

In the Fall of 2021 with infection numbers in a good spot, I headed to Dorchester Park to set up an outdoor studio and invited families, friends, and passerbys to sit. The portrait sessions were quick, fun, and joyful. Relationships were photographed. I needed to make portraits like these as much as the people in them needed to be with one another. Celebrating closeness when it had been shunned for so long proved in itself quite meaningful.
